Being a good friend Nigel Moore of Sidcup had no hesitation in saying yes when he was asked by Rachael Day if he would run in the London Marathon for Make-A-Wish, the charity that grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.

Nigel, who had already secured his place was delighted to help Rachael who has just taken on the role of regional

development executive for Make-A-Wish for the eastern region.

"When Rachael enthused me about the work of Make-A-Wish I just knew I wanted to be involved and help," says Nigel who works for a broker in the Docklands. "It will be my first London Marathon and I am determined to take up both challenges that face me. To complete the course and to raise as much money as I can for Make-A-Wish's special children."

"Nigel is doing well with his fundraising," says Rachael, "but we are always looking for more people to sponsor him. Anyone who is interested should

contact me on 01708 731431."
