Here's an unusual request the Churchill Theatre is looking for a corgi with style and class to play a really regal role on stage.
The Bromley theatre will be auditioning stage-struck corgis who are just panting to see their name up in lights. There's no pay but as many dog biscuits as the star can eat!
Roald Dahl's best-selling children's book The BFG, or Big Friendly Giant, comes to the Churchill from February 19 to 23 but there is still one vital part uncast.
The producers need a suitable dog to play the cameo role of the Queen's corgi.
A royal pedigree is not essential a generally regal air is sufficient. More importantly he/she should be docile, trained to walk to heel and used to people and noise.
Interested owners are asked to call Annie Kennedy at the theatre on 020 8464 7131.
