FANS of dinosaur fossils and movies will get a double bonus at Newport’s Cineworld on Saturday, July 4.

To accompany the launch of the Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs movie, staff and friends from the Isle of Wight Council’s Dinosaur Isle Museum in Sandown will be exhibiting some of the attractions fossils and models at the cinema.

The exhibition will include fossilised bones, a model of what the IW looked like in pre-historic times, and a display on the rebuilding of a dinosaur skeleton found on the Island.

Cinema-goers will also be able to ask questions to staff, who will also identify any fossils eager collectors may have brought along.

The exhibition will be on display between 10am and 4pm in the main foyer at Cineworld.
