The Heathrow Youth Games attracts more than 20,000 youngsters from across London, all competing for the chance to be the next Olympic hopeful.
Past competitors include sprinters Linford Christie and John Regis and javelin thrower Steve Backley.
Roger Cato, managing director of BAA Heathrow, said: "The London Heathrow Youth Games underpin BAA Heathrow's community relations programme and illustrate how business, sport and local authorities can work together for the benefit of the community."
