Titan the robot.
THE Isle of Wight Garlic Festival, one of the Island’s biggest summer shows, is back at Newchurch today (Saturday) and tomorrow.
At the centre of the show is the Isle of Wight's great local produce, such as local garlic, used in all sorts of ways, from ice cream to salad dressing.
There will be cookery demonstrations, tastings, and free samples and the beer tent will be serving ales and ciders made on the Isle of Wight.
Live music plays a big part in the event, with 1970s pub rockers Eddie and the Hot Rods headlining on Saturday and Paper Lace headlining on Sunday. Local bands The Beach Buoys, Lucid and Derek Sandy will also play over the weekend.
The crowds will be entertained by a host of acts including Titan the robot, David Randini’s Punch and Judy show and free circus skills workshop with Ryde Extreme Performers.
The show is open Saturday and Sunday, 10am-6pm.
