Thomas Allen and Alexa Evans both narrowly missed breaking exisiting records when winning their respective 100 metres freestyle and butterfly races. Thomas, who was competing in the 15-16 year-old category, also came second in the butterfly, fourth in the backstroke and sixth in the breaststroke.
Alexa, taking part in the 17 and over events, also won the 100m freestyle and third in the backstroke where club-mate Johanne Riddoch finished just ahead of her.
Johanne was also second in the 100m freestyle, fourth in the butterfly and sixth in ther breaststroke.
Other Mariners who did not make the podium but still performed withcredit were Astrid Fieldsend, who was fifth in the 15-16 years backstroke over 100 metres and eighth in the butterfly, while Laura Palfrey in the same age group came eighth in the breaststroke.
And finally, Richard Dryden was seventh in the boys' 15-16 years backstroke race.
