Gary Lineker enjoys Isle of Wight visit

Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker sums up his visit to the Isle of Wight on Twitter.

MATCH of the Day presenter Gary Lineker, known for snacking on crisps, was spotted snacking on the Isle of Wight yesterday (Tuesday).

Former England footballer Gary Lineker lunched with his mum, Margaret, at the Three Buoys Restaurant in Ryde.

He spent around two hours at the Appley restaurant, which is understood to be owned by a friend of the family.

Mr Lineker was spotted travelling on a Wightlink car ferry, where he posed for photographs.

He was later spotted in Cowes.

The Island is without doubt a wonderful place and Gary Lineker clearly liked it as much as those of us who are fortunate enough to live here. Gary is welcome back any time and hopefully Mrs Postlethwaite will get a glimpse of him.
