Ms Wyner, was jailed for five years in December, after a court found her and her co-worker John Brock guilty of 'knowingly' allowing drug dealing to take place on the premises of the Wintercomfort homeless project in Cambridge.
The case has implications for those working in the charity sector and for teachers, youth workers and prison officers, who could be held liable if drugs were discovered on their premises.
To support the campaign write a letter to the Home Office minister Charles Clarke or your local MP, expressing your views, with reference to the impact the judgement could have on school, youth centres and charities in your area.
Send your letters marked Comet Ruth Wyner Appeal to the Comet at Unecol House, 819 London Road, North Cheam, SM3 4BN.
