A SMALL grass fire, close to the railway tracks at Havenstreet, was put out before firefighters arrived on Saturday.
The fire, near Ashey Lane, affected an area of about 15 metres by 1 metre and was reported at 11am.
Pair trapped in room
TWO holidaymakers trapped in a cottage bedroom in Park Avenue, Ventnor, had to be rescued by firefighters after a lock became stuck on yesterday morning (Sunday).
