THIRTY new jobs have been created on the Isle of Wight with the opening of a new Green Energy Centre in Newport High Street.
The jobs have been created at Apple Home Improvements, which was officially opened on Saturday by Cllr Susan Scoccia, chairman of the Isle of Wight Council.
Andy Downes, operations manager, said: "We are delighted to be branching out across the water to Newport and are looking forward to working with Island residents on their home improvements.
"From elegant conservatories to high-tech, energy-saving solar panels, our new Green Energy Centre showcases contemporary and cost effective solutions to enhance the home."

It's just a shame they've already started to annoy people with their cold calling techniques, no research into the person, type of property or checking with TPS lists.
