ECOISLAND toasted the passing of a major milestone at the end of January.
The team celebrated the opening of its new 'eco hub’ at The Apex, St Cross Business Park, Newport, by inviting friends, supporters and their new neighbours to an afternoon drinks soiree.
David Green, Ecoisland CIC chief executive, said they shared the vision for St Cross as a green business park at the forefront of renewable technologies on the Island.
He said: "We are excited about the new offices at the eco hub of the Island and the improved access this will give to our community.
"It will also help to 'professionalise’ the face of Ecoisland and be a better place to bring new potential partners.
"We are excited about the number of people who have already started to show interest in being part of the green business park."
Mr Green thanked everyone who had supported their move and said they would be advertising a regular eco advice surgery.
The offices include a reception area and a meeting room, which will feature a boardroom table made from pieces of Ryde Pier.
