Cannon started the game on top using the strong wind and the lovely pitch to pass the ball around.
Cannon had some good chances but Paul Green and Peter Digweed could not find the back of the net.
Then Barnet United cleared the ball forward and took the lead in the 35th minute.
Straight from kick-off the Cannon attacked the Barnet goal with chances going to Chris Francis and Clark Williams and Neil O'Donnell but once again Barnet held firm and the keeper pulled off some fine saves.
Then with ten minutes to go a shot took a deflection of a Cannon player and went in to put Barnet two up. From that moment on The Cannon knew it was not their day.
The Cannon 0 Barnet United 2
