Women from around Wandsworth are preparing for the fifth annual Race For Life held at Battersea on June 3.

The event organised by Imperial Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) is exclusively open to women of all ages and the course can be walked, jogged or run.

An expected 3,000 women will take part in the run at Battersea Park which alone is hoped to raise over £130m.

Money raised will be used to help fund ICRF's pioneering research into cancer which affects around 140,000 women in the UK.
