A BEMBRIDGE tradition will be resurrected in the summer to mark the 50th anniversary of the harbour.

A sailing regatta will be held from Friday, July 26, to Sunday, July 28, the first to be held in several years.

As well as sailing and rowing races, visitors will enjoy an exhibition of historic and new photographs of the area, a fireworks display, model and paper boat racing, a street market, beach games. The annual dance on the Duver will be brought forward to coincide with the festivities.

A programme of events will be published in the spring.
