MARKS and Spencer staff volunteered for the day to redecorate the Earl Mountbatten Hospice charity shop in Cowes.
The project, called Spark Something Good, is a regional campaign Marks and Spencer has launched where stores select a local charity and employees volunteer for the day.
Each charity also receives £500 to pay for any supplies and equipment needed.
Cowes Marks and Spencer chose the Earl Mountbatten Hospice as their charity of the year.
Danielle Merryfield, finance and operations manager at Cowes Marks and Spencer, said: "The idea is that, once finished, the Cowes Earl Mountbatten Hospice charity shop will become the flagship store for all of their charity shops and hopefully they will be able to roll out the improvements on the rest of their stores in the near future."
