A man who tried to get his new business as a watch dealer off the ground by advertising in Loot was robbed of two Rolex watches worth £8,000.

A man posing as a buyer phoned his victim on Friday saying he wanted a meeting.

They met up at Hounslow West tube station and went to the luckless businessman's house in Hospital Bridge Road, Whitton. Once at the house the victim showed the man the two watches. A fight broke out and the robber fled with the Rolexes.

One watch is a GMT Master 2 which is yellow with a black face, the other has no name but has serial number R753770 on it and has a champagne dial.

Information should be passed to police on 0181 541 1212.
