THE TEAM behind a series of clean-ups at the former Frank James Hospital hope to meet with an estate agent on Sunday to discuss the future of the neglected Isle of Wight building.
The Friends of Frank James group is due to hold its latest clean-up at the East Cowes site on Sunday, starting at 10am.
Group member Tanja Rebel said they hoped to be joined by estate agent Norman White.
"The good news is that estate agent Norman White will try to come and meet us on the day in order to discuss plans for the building.
"The Friends of Frank James very much hope that these plans will come into action soon so that this glorious building will be saved for future generations," she said.

In the Times on Friday, October 12, Frank James Hospital was pictured along with other at risk listed buildings. The headline was "Lifeline for buildings that give England its character"

It is a terrible shame that this building was allowed to fall into such a state of disrepair, it should never have been allowed to happen! The Friends of Frank James have done a fantastic job so far and I hope that Mr White is able to move things along with the site. This eyesore can't be allowed to remain in its present condition any longer.
