GET your thinking caps on — it is time to swot up for the annual Huge Hospice Quiz.

The event, at Lower Hyde Holiday Park, Shanklin, on November 15, has raised more than £40,000 for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice in its 12-year history.

Registration, which costs £20 for a team of four, is now open, and all proceeds go towards the hospice.

Alongside the main event — with nine rounds, including the popular music and picture rounds — there will also be a tombola and an auction.

Community fundraiser Ben Rust said: "Last year’s event saw a full house of 100 teams and we are hoping to repeat that success."

Tom Stroud, of Isle of Wight Radio, is acting as quiz master and there will be a prize for the best team name.
