Hotel re-opens as sale goes through

Sandpipers hotel in Freshwater Bay.

THE Sandpipers hotel in Freshwater Bay is set to re-open yesterday (Friday) after being sold at auction to Isle of Wight Hotels Ltd for around £370,000.

The hotel had been in the hands of the receivers since January 2011 but shut its doors eight weeks ago after they decided to sell the hotel.

Wight Hotels Ltd have advertised for a number of staff for its new venture. The company also owns The Albion in Freshwater Bay.

I have just been into a very well known travel ageancy in a town in Leicester where they have racks and racks of glossary travel magerzines I ask for somthing on the Isle of Wight and they replied we have not any COULD SOMEONE TELL ME WHY
