COLNEY HEATH boss Jeff O'Vell must have thought his team's recent troubles were behind them after their impressive win at Langford, but any hopes of a last-gasp bid for promotion were dealt another blow with a narrow 1-0 defeat at Tring Athletic on Saturday, February 23.
The Magpies had more than enough chances to take something from the match, but, as Athletic came onto their game in the second-half, Colney Heath faded, with the late dismissal of Alan Dunton - just back from injury - adding insult to injury.
Despite Saturday's result though, the manager believes the team's performances can still land the Magpies promotion.
