If we on the Island are to pay more for our water I would like to see GREATER ACCOUNTABILITY WITH REGARD TO LEAKS,. NEAR TO WHERE i LIVE THERE HAS BEEN A WATER LEAK FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS THAT i HAVE LIVED IN THIS VILLAGE. THE LOCAL COUNSELLOR HAS MADE THE WATER COMPANY AWARE OF THIS ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS BUT THE LEAK CONTINUES. i WOULD SUGGEST THAT WE ARE HAVING TO PAY FOR THIS.LACK OF REPAIR. i BELIEVE THAT THE WATER COMPANY IS TAKING THE EASY OPTION BY SIMPLY RAISING THE COST TO THE POOR CONSUMER.

What improvements? Perhaps they mean my water won't in future be depositing brown cr*p wherever it dries. But whatever. I'll simply reduce my water consumption by 10%.

another con....ever since our nationally owned industries where sold back to us water companies have been making a profit for their share holders and skimping on repairs/upgrades..now they expect us to carry the cart for them
