ISLANDERS have already shown their generosity after the launch Isle of Wight Christmas Toy Appeal launch.
Hundreds of toys have already been donated, meaning more disadvantaged Isle of Wight children will have the opportunity to receive a Christmas present.
Island waste contractor, Amey, also showed its support for the campaign when it donated 15 toys at the Isle of Wight County Press offices last Wednesday.
Donating the toys, Amey’s community engagement manager Simon Butler said: "The Christmas Toy Appeal is a very worthwhile scheme and Amey are delighted to support the appeal by providing new toys.
"We are sure they will go to very worthwhile homes and those who receive them get a lot of joy for Christmas."
After the appeal closes, toys will be distributed by more than 20 charities to disadvantaged or poorly children.
If you want to help, take an unwrapped toy (suggested value £10) to one of the Island’s drop-off points before Tuesday, December 13.
