THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice across the Isle of Wight from 4pm today (Monday).
The warning will last overnight and through unto 11am tomorrow (Tuesday).
Forecasters said temperatures are likely to fall below freezing late this afternoon, which will lead to icy stretches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths across the Island.
