Independent Arts Christmas song to help isolated Islanders

Tuesday, November 29, 2016 - 10:36

A NEW Christmas single, with an important message at its heart, will be released by Isle of Wight charity Independent Arts this week.
They worked with Island musician Jason Paine to create Nobody Should be Alone at Christmas Time, which will raise money for its work helping socially isolated people.
It features the talents of Independent Arts SingAbout participants.
SingAbout promotes health and wellbeing through bringing people together for relaxed and sociable singing sessions.
Project manager Hannah Griffiths "It has been heart-warming to give our SingAbout participants the opportunity to be part of something as exciting as recording a Christmas song.
"All the groups have been working hardto practise the song and the result is a real credit to them."
Nobody Should Be Alone at Christmas Time will be available to buy on CD and download from Friday December 2.
CDs will be available from The Isle of Wight County Press Shop, Newport, and Rutherford’s Eye Care, Freshwater.
