A WOMAN who badly injured her arm on board a yacht was rescued by Yarmouth RNLI lifeboat on Sunday.

The woman was on board a yacht, off Bouldnor, with her husband and two children when it became snagged on a mooring line and trapped against another vessel.

The woman badly injured her wrist after slipping and becoming wedged between the two boats, while attempting to put fenders down the side of their boat, according to an RNLI spokesman.

The lifeboat towed both boats back to Yarmouth, having had to cut through the mooring ropes, and the woman was transferred to the care of a waiting ambulance crew.
