Borehamwood JSC U10s gained revenge for their league cup defeat at the hands of Harvesters North earlier in the season with a 2-0 success in the Challenge Cup.
JSC applied pressure from the kick off and were unlucky not to go ahead in the first half after a fine attacking move and a disallowed goal, ruled offside.
They were not put off and started the second half with great determination. A good through ball from midfield sent Ben Branch on a run from the halfway line to place a good shot past Harvesters' keeper
Taking charge, JSC played some fine flowing football.
Harvesters countered and were only halted by some fine defensive play and several good clearances by keeper Michael Forde.
A change around during the second half created a great opportunity for striker John Rowland, who finished with a magnificent 20-yard shot to ensure victory for JSC, who gave an excellent all-round performance.
