YOUNG women living in Bromley are being invited to compete for the title of Miss Bromley 2002.
Bromley Lions' Club is looking for 15 to 25-year-olds with friendly, outgoing personalities and an interest in the club's work, to take part in the competition.
A queen and two princesses will be chosen at interviews by a panel of independent judges. They will not need to wear any special outfits for the interviews.
The three women will be crowned at an old time music hall evening in Keston Town Hall in May and their first engagement will be to lead the Bromley Carnival parade on August Bank Holiday Monday. They will also have to represent Bromley at other fundraising events, carnivals and charity events. Any dresses or costumes needed for engagements will be provided by the Lions' Club.
Call 020 8402 7952 for an application form. Entries must be received by April 6.
