ISLE of Wight Festival promoter John Giddings was recognised for his contribution to the Island economy at the Island Business Awards on Friday night.
Mr Giddings received the President's Cup from chamber president Steve Porter.
Other special awards went to Eddie Minghella, of Minghella's ice cream, Cowes firm Vikoma and bus company Southern Vectis.
Around 300 guests attended the glittering ceremony at the Cowes Yacht Haven, with MP Andrew Turner among them.
