A WAREHOUSE at Shalfleet is doing great things for goalkeepers across the world.

Online mail order company Great-save.com, run by Martin Sanders, 30, has been specialising in goalkeeper accessories since 2006.

Its customers include Reading FC goalkeeper Adam Federici and it has worked with England’s Robert Green and John Ruddy.

The company, which employs Martin’s dad, Roger, 53, who used to run Newport’s Sanders Sports store, has now launched its own brand, GS. The firm finds his 25 years of experience invaluable.

Martin said: "We are really excited about it. We have used all of our experience and expertise to make something of great quality that is affordable.

"I’d love to get a Premier League goalkeeper to be wearing them by next year."

The company has around 35,000 goalkeepers, professional, semi-professional and amateur on its database, from as far as Australia, America and the Falkland Islands, plus across Britain.

It has a You Tube channel dedicated to testing products and asks Island goalkeepers to wear them to get feedback.

The company can also personalise accessories.
