A GLEE club from the Isle of Wight has won the final of a Comic Relief competition to find the best singing group in the country today (Friday).

Resonate, a group made up of members of the Island Community Glee Club, were competing in CBBC's Comic Relief does Glee Club.

They made it through to today's (Friday) live final and performed I Dreamed a Dream from the West End musical Les Miserables.

The competition's judging panel was full of praise for the group, which is led by Medina College teacher Hannah Brear.

Judge Carrie Grant said: "If I was a record company I would sign you."

Fellow judge Sisco Gomez said: "The consistencies in your harmonies throughout the whole piece was absolutely mind blowing."

My son is not musical. My son is not a dancer. However, he is a fluent french speaker. What is the common dominator?
Hannah Breah.
Hannah is an inspiration to all teachers. Very well done, Resonate, you performed flawlessly.
Hannah Breah, you are a credit to Medina.
