ISLAND Line train services on the Isle of Wight are expected to be back tomorrow (Wednesday), after days of disruption.
The service has been out of action due to a landslip at Sandown at the weekend.
A spokeswoman said today (Tuesday) they hoped the service would be restored for the start of service tomorrow, although a taxi service would continue to run on Ryde Pier, following damage to the track during the recent storms.

I am guessing that the landslip might have been worse than it appears on the surface Neil? I guess it just to be on the safe side?

I am glad passenger safety is maintained and hopefully the train service will be back to normal soon.

Why did it stop in first place? The land slide was about 10 ft from track and looked like a couple of wheelbarrows full of soil..
