A WEBSITE to give businesses a new way to advertise on the internet was unveiled at Monday's Bucks Free Press Job Fair.
The website, called recruitmentarena.co.uk and set up by BFP owners Newsquest, was launched at the fair at High Wycombe Town Hall which attracted 20 exhibitors from industries in the area, including Royal Mail, South Buckinghamshire NHS Trust, Jarvis Hotels and Reed Accountancy Personnel.
Steve Cohen, editor of the Bucks Free Press, who officially opened the job fair, said: "We (the BFP) pride ourselves on being part of the community. We couldn't get closer to the community than this."
Bus company Arriva was looking for drivers and was delighted with the response.
John Bass of Arriva said the company had taken on three drivers from the last time it exhibited at the fair, all of whom were still with them.
The Job Fair was sponsored by Wycombe District Council.
