Your brief mention on page 3 of the June 7 edition of the Borehamwood & Elstree Times, of how little glass is recycled by local residents, was of interest.
Could it be that so little glass is re-used because, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, so much of it is lying shattered on our streets, particularly in Shenley Road and at vandalized bus shelters?
