INNOVATIVE businesses on the Isle of Wight are being invited to apply for a share of £5 million.
Solent LEP has invited companies and organisations to apply for cash in a new round of its Innovation Fund.
The LEP said it was keen to back projects that will benefit small and medium sized businesses in the area.
Those seeking to apply for a slice of the £5million fund have until October 2017 to submit their business case.
Solent LEP chairman Gary Jeffries said: "We are delighted to launch this call for proposals to support innovation in our regions prior sector. The projects we support under round three of the innovation programme fund will make a positive difference to those companies directly involved as well as other businesses in supply chins.
"This is about driving wider growth and raising competitiveness and productivity."
