LIVE updates from the Isle of Wight Council budget setting meeting tonight (Wednesday).

It will be the first budget set since last month's Isle of Wight Council leadership change, following the resignations of the independent leader and deputy leader, Cllrs Jonathan Bacon and Steve Stubbings.

That led to the appointment of Conservative Cllr Dave Stewart as leader, with fellow Tory Stuart Hutchinson as deputy leader.

The current executive is made up of five Conservatives, three non-aligned members and UKIP's Cllr Daryl Pitcher.
