DANCER Ryan Jenkins has been appointed creative director of a male group which promises to put the "strip back into tease".

Ryan, 28, who lived at Cowes, is working with Dream Idols, who are touring the UK.

"Within the past month, since launching, I have worked with Hollywood 'A-lister’ Channing Tatum, promoting his movie, Magic Mike, which is in cinemas.

"My work has been performed on tv’s This Morning and on the red carpet at the Europeon premiere of Magic Mike at the Mayfair Hotel for the national press and celebrities."

Ryan recently worked with Lauren Goodger and Nicola T, from The Only Way Is Essex, and received national press coverage for the Dream Idols new show, which will be in the West End from September 27.

His busy schedule follows a world tour, which came hard on the heels of his appearance on the tv show So You Think You Can Dance?

"This year, I also undertook the role of ambassador to the international competition dance challenge, working with Toni from The Voice and Matt Lapinskas from EastEnders," said Ryan.

"My feet have hardly touched the ground since my tv appearance. I have also just been honoured to be asked to be patron to a dance academy."

Ryan is a former Medina High School student, who studied at the Gillian Cartwright School of Dance and at Shanklin Theatre.
