There is talk in the air that a fourth Indiana Jones movie may go into production sometime during the next couple of weeks.

Apparently Harrison Ford would be willing to undertake the role again but everyone is waiting until the script is just right.

Most readers will know that the original trilogy was shot at Elstree Studios and on location between 1980 and 1988.

When the first film in the series entitled Raiders of the Lost Ark was in production, the studio was also making a diverse set of other movies.

There was the spin off of the George and Mildred television series, a called The Shillingbury Tales, The Great Puppet Caper, Ryan O'Neal in Green Ice, Oliver Reed in Venom, Vincent Price in The Monster Club and Sam Neill in The Final Conflict which was part of The Omen series.

Harrison always seemed a down-to-earth person at the studio and has certainly enjoyed a successful career.

Today he is one of Hollywood's most bankable stars. Incidentally, it is sad to read the poor critical reception given to The Avengers which seems to be following the same path of another Elstree original spin off, The Saint.

It is also reported that Star Wars 4 is having to reshoot scenes. Perhaps it is the Elstree Curse for not having filmed them at their old home!
