THE Isle of Wight was featured on Michael Portillo's Great British Railway Journeys on BBC2 last night (Thursday).
The latest episode of the documentary series saw the broadcaster and former MP travel from Chichester, West Sussex, to Cowes.
From Chichester, Mr Portillo travelled to Southsea, before crossing the Solent to Ryde.
He travelled with Island Line and rode the Isle of Wight Steam Railway to Wootton, before paying a visit to Osborne House.
