TICKETS for the Isle of Wight Festival, which kicks off in Newport this weekend with acts including Razorlight, Neil Young, the Prodigy and Pixies, have sold out.
In a bid to combat touts, organisers have announced a limited number of tickets will be held on the door.
A 32-page festival supplement, including the full running order, site maps and interviews with the bands, is available with this week’s County Press.
For the first time the supplement is totally green as it is printed on 100 per cent recycle paper.
The Island is poised for an influx of thousands of festival goers later this week, who will be entertained at the campsite on Thursday evening with bands including The Human League, tribute act The Complete Stone Roses and Island band Gweido.
As well as the line up of top bands there is a host of other activites to keep people busy over the weekend.
New to the festival this year are Look’s Pamper Parlour to provide complimentary pampering treats for festival goers, you’ll also be able to dance the night away at Strowbow’s Bowtime Bar, see top acts spinning their favourite tunes in the Rayban Rooms or pop into the Carling Local for a pint.
Also back are the Kashmir Cafe, Hipshaker Lounge, Kids Zone and the fun fair. You might even get spotted by Zone Models who will be on site searching for the next Kate Moss.
