A CAR ploughed into a garden wall, damaging a garage and a car on Sunday.

The accident, on The Broadway, Totland, was reported at 6.20am.

A police spokesman said a silver Toyota Celica collided with a garden wall to two properties, which also caused damage to a garage and garden furniture to one property and a parked car on the driveway of the neighbouring house.

No arrests were made, but police say they are still investigating the matter.
