A BOAT that featured in a James Bond film was towed to safety by the Cowes RNLI Lifeboat yesterday (Wednesday).

Fairey Nuff, a 28ft cabin cruiser, which featured in From Russia With Love, found itself stranded in Osborne Bay with engine trouble.

The lifeboat was launched at 7.20pm to tow the stricken vessel, usually based at Shamrock Quay, Southampton, to Trinity Landing, Cowes.
