Chertsey remain deeply entrenched in the relegation dogfight after a spirited goalless draw with ten-man Bromley at Alwyns Lane last weekend.

Paul Walker's men have only a small chance of beating the drop to Ryman Division two, as they currently lie ten points behind fourth from bottom Romford.

Chertsey lived dangerously as Bromley struck the woodwork three times and Lee Edwards, performing well in goal, thwarting Matt Wolf twice and Mark Tompkins once to keep his side in contention.

Bromley were reduced to tenmen when Mark Loveday collected two yellow cards five minutes from the interval, but Walkers men were unable to capitalise on this.

This weekend Chertsey go to Bishops Stortford (kick off 3pm).
