Johnny visits celebrity Island

Lucky Laura Hedgecox enjoyed a cuddle with heartthrob actor Johnny Depp when he visited Ryde this week.

HOLLYWOOD superstar Johnny Depp was the latest celebrity to turn heads during his visit to the Island at the weekend.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star follows the likes of Peter Andre, Kate Moss and Robert Pattinson to visit the IW in recent months.
Matthew Parker, who runs the Union Inn, Cowes, where Depp and three other men had a meal on Saturday night, said the star could be here for Cowes Week.
Mr Parker said: “They enquired about accommodation and hinted they could be staying for a few weeks.”
Barmaid Abbie Russell, 25, who served Depp a seafood dish, said: “It was amazing, the best shift I’ve ever worked.”
Laura Hedgecox, 31, of Ryde, had her photograph taken with Depp after she served him at Chocolate Apothecary, Ryde, on Saturday morning.
Laura said: “I asked him why are you on the IW and he said he was with his dad.
“I was very giddy all afternoon but he didn’t leave a tip,” she added.
