Remember me at first light of the morning

Where once you and I so often stood,

As we listened to the call of the skylark

Soaring through the treetops

In the coolness of the wood.

Remember me my love in the noonday sunshine

When soft clouds are appearing in the sky,

Smell of the wildflowers and birds sweetly singing

Dipping and circling as they fly.

Remember me when the evening shadows

Dance and play on the old garden wall,

When all is tranquil and peaceful,

And soft summer raindrops gently fall.

Remember me my love at the closing of the day,

When night descends and the sky turns black,

Wait for me until I return to you,

God keep you safe till I come back.

I know you will all remember

Our fight to keep us free.

We must never let the evil win

And a safer world there'll be.

Please remember all of us

In our fight for justice and liberty.
