Lifeboat rescue after head injury

BEMBRIDGE lifeboat was called to rescue a yacht crew member with a head injury at around 4pm today.

The Isle of Wight RNLI lifeboat crew had been returning to Bembridge after recovering a body from the water, when they were diverted to the Sunsail yacht, just outside Portsmouth Harbour.

The injured crew member was taken to Portsmouth Harbour, where they were picked up by an ambulance.
