VOLUNTEERS are urgently needed for a Beachwatch litter survey this weekend.
The West Wight Conservation Group, in conjunction with the Marine Conservation Society, will be holding litter sweep surveys at Freshwater Bay tomorrow (Saturday) and Totland Bay and Colwell Bay on Sunday.
Tomorrow’s survey runs from 10am until lunchtime — volunteers should meet on the esplanade by the hotel — while Sunday’s survey at Totland Bay runs from 10am until 12.30pm. People should meet by Totland Pier.
The Colwell Bay survey will start at 1pm until 3pm and volunteers should meet by the car park.
