A LORRY'S roof was ripped off as it drove under a tree in Ryde this afternoon (Tuesday).
Spencer Glade resident, Paul Dyer, said the trailer from a Red Funnel lorry had been pulled from the cab and its roof had been ripped off, after it drove under a horse chestnut tree in Spencer Road, at around 3.50pm.
Spencer Road was blocked as a result.
