A CHARITY auction, to raise funds for the Lottie Rann Trust, a cause that has captured the hearts of Islanders, takes place tomorrow (Saturday).

Lottie, 11, was left paralysed from the neck down after contracting meningitis for a second time, and her family are desperately trying to raise enough money to fully adapt their Niton home so they can bring her home as soon as possible.

She is currently living at a rehabilitation centre in Surrey, with her parents, David and Christine, by her side.

Scotts Hair Salon, in Church Street, Ventnor, will host the auction tomorrow.

Lottie’s cousin, Jesse Rann will be the auctioneer, and lots include a camper van picnic day out, meals for two people and an a la carte meal with bed and breakfast at the Hambrough. It starts at 6pm.

A ladies’ night is being held tonight (Friday) at Niton Primary School from 7pm and the proceeds of the raffle are being donated to the trust.

For further information about how to get involved or make a donation, and to view a full list of the events, visit the Lottie Rann Trust Facebook page.
