Lots on offer for Small Business Saturday


TO MARK Small Business Saturday this weekend, when shoppers can park for free in Isle of Wight Council car parks, businesses have annouced some great deals for shoppers.

Small Business Saturday has been created as a festive boost for Isle of Wight businesses, with support from the council, the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, Visit Isle of Wight and the Federation of Small Businesses.

Council cabinet member for tousirm and economy Cllr Shirley Smart said: "This is a wonderful opportunity to support local businessed ahead of Christmas."

Special offers? Spend so much on an overpriced piece of tat and get a worthless piece of tat free. If these are the "offers" that are supposed to entice us into Newport you can rest assured I will not be shopping there. What a load of cods...
