Two spectacular strikes gave Hertsmere a 2-1 win at Harpenden.
Barry McGouran struck the first after a great pass by Gazza Hazell.
Then Ian Wyse went on a solo run from his own half before finding the net.
Men-of-the-match, keeper Elliott Coleman, who pulled off two fantastic saves, and midfield battler Neil Shortman, helped to secure the win.
The hosts netted a consolation on full time.
